Gyros restaurant far exceeds any Greek food I have had in this city (or any other city, for that matter!) From a gyro to souvlaki to fresh hummus and baklava – Gyros Mediterranean offers something for everyone. Gyros Mediterranean This little spot has my heart! Greek food will always be a favorite of mine and this little gem, located across from the university campus, is family-owned and family-run by one of the sweetest families around. My Pick: Duck Hash, Eggs Benny with Green Chile Hollandaise, Lemon Cornmeal Pancakes with lemon curd or the Carne Adovada Sandwich. Make sure to try this restaurant for both breakfast and lunch and also for their “Nightshift” – a locally sourced, regionally inspired, casual dinner with a rotating weekly menu using local farms and ranches for the freshest ingredients. Every unique recipe is somehow better than the last and the friendly staff make every stop into The Shop an entirely wonderful and warm experience. I’ve never left The Shop without feeling like I just had the perfect meal. The Shop Breakfast & Lunch This place is insanely good. There are honestly so many good restaurants in Albuquerque that it’s hard to limit it to a list of 30, but below are a few that the locals obsess over and the tourists will love. Whether you’re visiting for the International Balloon Fiesta in the Fall, mountain biking and hiking in the Sandia Mountains in the Summer or going snowboarding or skiing in the winter, these Albuquerque restaurants are guaranteed to satisfy any and every craving you will have for delicious food. ![]() ![]() I have visited countless big cities and multiple countries and I still swear that the food here is some of the best I’ve ever had.
